Donauer Solartechnik introduced a number of innovations at Intersolar Europe 2010.

Employees provided information on the company’s innovations to hundreds of customers and attendees at the nearly 400-m² booth.

Numerous attendees wanted to see firsthand how Tilman Elsner, product manager for INTERSOL mounting systems, could set up the Futura Flat Roof system by himself in just ten minutes. Every day at the trade fair he offered a live demonstration of how easily the mounting system distributed by Donauer Solartechnik can be set up. INTERSOL has continued development on its Futura Flat Roof mounting system, making further improvements to it after nearly one year of implementation in the field. The second generation of the flat-roof mounting system is even sturdier and can be set up even faster than before.

The new off-grid department introduced itself at the Donauer Solartechnik booth. Department Head Jürgen Kreysern and his employees provided information on the applications that Donauer Solartechnik has in store for supplying electricity in rural areas in many regions of the world. This problem can be tackled by establishing self-sustaining stand-alone grids. Visitors from around the world received information on high-performance systems for street and building lighting as well as stand-alone inverters and water pumps. The e-bike was a real eye-catcher, and Donauer Solartechnik distributes the e-bike ports with the matching solar-powered charging station.

In addition Donauer Solartechnik presented the retail version of the “PVplaner” software. This software aids installation engineers when it comes to customer-oriented sales and distribution of PV systems. Customers visiting the booth could also experience firsthand at the terminals how technically sound offers could be drawn up in just a few minutes using the presentation tool. Installation engineers can now show customers realistic 3D plans in just a short amount of time. The most impressive element behind it is the intelligent linking of product data from Donauer Solartechnik with manufacturer-specific features.
